Under Her Skin

Description

Don't think I've tried Victoria 7's texture on Ysabel before, so just for the hell of it here's what she'd look like with it. Since I've worked into her notes the concept mentioned under Tracking it gives me more freedom to run with varying skin textures (within reason). And there's a couple I'd like to try now that I hadn't thought of before. But its not like Ysabel would deliberately harm herself on the chance that it could alter her surface appearance. I'm certain she figured out during her early demigoddess/sacrificial religious devotee phase that it could occur. After those days ended, however, any massive trauma that caused it to happen again would not have been voluntary. Free of Younger Brother's influence there are limits to what's she willing to endure.

Update: as mentioned to TheOrgano, there are a couple things I have to keep in mind when switching around Ysabel's skin, namely the eyebrows. How high or low they are on her brow ridge means Ysabel's hairline might need to be adjusted up or down to look right. And there's another thing I finally noticed about Ysabel's eyes because of using the Victoria 7 texture: the combination of shapes that goes into her mix pushes the eyeballs - not the eyes; the eyeballs - inward just enough to make her slightly cross-eyed. I've adjusted each one out by .05 on X and locked them, but can't figure out yet how to make it part of her shaping preset. I'll be running a duplicate of this scene with Mei Lin 7's texture (as well as some others) to be sure it's been corrected. There will also be a side-by-side comparison uploaded at some point with the different skins that best suit Ysabel from my current library.

I think I should start calling her ABY. Always Beautiful Ysabel. Another lovely portrait of her. Interesting texture choice, too
